Science Dynamics Reports Year-End Results

PENNSAUKEN, N.J., April 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science Dynamics Corporation (OTC:SIDY) (BULLETIN BOARD: SIDY) , a developer of Internet protocol-based technology, announced today the company's year-end results ended December 31, 2004.

Sales for the fiscal year end were $1,609,717 compared to $1,490,834 in the 2003 fiscal year. Revenues in 2004 and 2003 for software technology sales were predominantly derived from the Commander product lines. Approximately 30% was from consulting services and revenue generated from the maintenance and support of those products. The increase can be attributed to an increase in consulting services.

Science Dynamics CEO Paul Burgess said, "Coming out of a downturn in the telecommunications market, it is crucial that we have a diverse product offering to mitigate risk associated with a single industry or market. We are expanding our product line through a combination of acquisitions, such as Systems Management Engineering, as well as product development."

On February 28, 2005, Science Dynamics announced that it had acquired an 82% equity interest in Systems Management Engineering, Inc. (SMEI). Based on contracted projects, the transaction is expected to add approximately $4 million in 2005 sales.

The acquisition significantly broadens the company's business from its current role as a provider of technology solutions to correctional facilities. SMEI is a provider of advanced data management applications and Internet server technology to government and commercial markets. Currently over 80% of SMEI's business is with the Department of Defense (DoD) and 10% is with private companies that have contracts with the government. SMEI's Aquifer Software is a DoD-certified application that creates and manages communications networks and real-time transaction processing in a highly secure environment. The Aquifer product has built in DoD-certified security.

Science Dynamics believes that combining Aquifer's application management qualities with the IP-based transaction processing capabilities of BubbleLink provides the company with a dynamic product offering that can be used to develop vertical applications encompassing a multitude of industries.
