Science Dynamics Subsidiary SMEI Reports Record
Order Backlog Pennsauken, NJ, December 05, 2005 -- Science
Dynamics Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: SIDY), a provider of advanced
technological solutions to Department of Defense and executive government agencies,
said today that its subsidiary Systems Management Engineering, Inc. (SMEI) has
a record contract backlog of $14.6 million.
Revenue under the contract is dependent upon government agencies funding
the contract. The
backlog represents the value of existing SMEI contracts over their remaining
life. The contracts are for services to be provided. Major contract assignments
include Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), Defense Enterprise Architecture
(DODAC), systems analysis, application support and GIS development for the U.S.
State Department, Department of Defense and other commercial and federal
clients. Although still relatively small,
the firm is teaming successfully as a prime contractor with national consulting
firms, such as Booz Allen Hamilton, and major defense contractors, such as
DynCorp. Paul
Burgess, CEO of Science Dynamics, said, “Our business has grown tremendously in
the last year. This backlog underscores the value that SMEI brings to our
operations.
Significantly, much of this backlog is composed of contract extensions that
required minimal additional overhead to secure. This demonstrates solid
customer satisfaction with our services and provides us with excellent momentum
going into 2006.” About Science Dynamics
